Readers visiting WNA member websites and social platforms from July 22 to Aug. 4 were asked how they felt schools should handle the start of the 2020-21 year amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Out of 139 respondents, 45% favored a combination of in-person and virtual education. The remaining voters were split nearly evenly between returning to in-person classes full-time (27%) and continuing with virtual educations (28%).

While the sample size for our poll questions remains small, the results can still offer members a starting point for writing their own stories. As more members post the poll questions and engagement increases, we hope to offer more statistically significant results.
