BAILEYS HARBOR – The Peninsula Pulse has named former longtime Door County journalist Debra Fitzgerald as its news editor, the newspaper announced last month.
Fitzgerald, who had spent the last 11 years at a newspaper in southwest Minnesota, introduced herself to readers in a column. She previously had worked eight years in the Door County Advocate newsroom before leaving Wisconsin in 2008.
