GREEN BAY — Three USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin newsrooms are asking readers to give tax-deductible donations to help with the cost of four Report for America reporting positions covering underserved communities.
The Green Bay Press-Gazette, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, and Wausau Daily Herald were selected in December to participate in the 2020 Report for America program. The Press-Gazette and Daily Herald will each host one reporter, while the Journal Sentinel will have two.

In Green Bay, they plan to create a new reporting position covering Wisconsin’s Native American community. The Green Bay area is home to the Oneida Nation, one of 11 federally recognized tribes in Wisconsin.
The Journal Sentinel will assign its two journalists to cover the African American, Latino and other minority communities. Wausau’s reporter is expected to cover central Wisconsin’s rural communities.
