Going into a new year and a new decade is an exciting proposition for us all. And I can think of no better way to approach the future than to get together on March 19-20 at the 2020 WNA Convention & Trade Show.

This year’s event is at the Ingleside Hotel in beautiful Pewaukee, just 20 miles west of Milwaukee. You and the family will love the Springs Water Park there.

The annual WNA convention is a great time to learn through outstanding educational seminars, stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends during the trade show and celebrate the accomplishments of the WNA Foundation Better Newspaper Contest winners during the Awards Banquet.

The convention also offers many opportunities for networking with your newspaper compatriots, including student journalists and their advisers who will be attending the career fair and the Student Honors Luncheon, where their best work will be recognized. This is our future at its best and you can meet and greet with them at the 2020 WNA Convention.

Registration will open the first week of February, so be sure to check the WNA website next week for more details.

Okay, thanks, gotta get back to it; see you soon in Pewaukee! (I’ll be easy to spot in my red WNA sports jacket.) Don’t miss this opportunity to meet with your peers, learn new ideas and have a great time!
