LAKE GENEVA – Connor Carynski, an Illinois native who grew up just outside Rockford, has joined the Lake Geneva Regional News as its newest reporter.
Carynski most recently worked as a freelance reporter in Chicago, covering city meetings and announcements. He also has worked as a reporter for Austin Talks, covering the Austin neighborhood in Chicago, and spent eight months as an intern for the Chicago Sun-Times.
Prior to his professional career, he worked as an editor and a reporter for The Columbia Chronicle student newspaper at Columbia College Chicago. He graduated earlier this year with his bachelor’s degree in journalism.
