BARABOO – Aaron Holbrook has been named regional editor of the (Beaver Dam) Daily Citizen, Portage Daily Register and Baraboo News Republic, Capital Newspapers announced Wednesday. He previously served as assistant regional editor.
Holbrook has spent 30 years as a community journalist, including 24 years in south-central Wisconsin.
He succeeds Todd Krysiak, who moved into a new role with Lee Enterprises as production editor and news executive overseeing the production process for the company’s print products.
Kerry Lechner, who was promoted to local news editor, will also help oversee the news staff. Lechner previously served as copy desk chief for the Portage, Baraboo and Beaver Dam papers.
