NEW LONDON – After more than four years with the New London Press Star, editor Scott Bellile has left the newspaper for a cheese marketing job.
Bellile announced his departure to readers Thursday, saying he’ll “miss the rush” of working at the newspaper. His new position, marketing coordinator for IPAP in Appleton, involves coordinating dairy farm tours and promoting Wisconsin cheese, among other things.
After graduating from UW-Oshkosh with his journalism degree in 2015, Bellile started at the Press Star as a reporter. He covered sports and news at his hometown paper and eventually moved up to editor in 2017. As editor, he also oversaw production of the Clintonville Tribune-Gazette.
