MCFARLAND – Recent UW-Stout graduate Kendra Lamer has joined the reporting staff of The Herald-Independent and The McFarland Thistle.
Lamer will cover Monona, McFarland and Cottage Grove for the two Adams Publishing Group newspapers. A Green Bay native and current Milton resident, Lamer introduced herself to readers in a column Monday.
She graduated from UW-Stout in May with a bachelor’s degree in communication and emerging media. While in college, Lamer served as president of the Her Campus online magazine. She also wrote for Volume One, a local arts and entertainment magazine, and had her work published in The Chippewa Herald and The Dunn County News in Menomonie.
