The archive, which spans several decades and dates back to the late 19th Century, includes The New London Press, New London Republican, New London Press-Republican and the Press-Star.

The 95 reels of microfilm were digitized through the Wisconsin Historical Newspaper Project — a partnership between the Wisconsin Public Library Consortium, Wisconsin Historical Society, Wisconsin Newspaper Association and Wisconsin Library Services.  New London’s digitization was made possible through a Wisconsin Library Services and Technology Act grant.

Multi Media Channels general manager and WNA board member Dave Wood called it “an incredible resource” for the community.
