SAUK CITY – Jake Ekdahl has joined the Sauk Prairie Eagle as a reporter, the newspaper announced Wednesday.
Ekdahl, who grew up in Aurora, Illinois, joined Capital Newspapers in October 2017 as a reporter for the Juneau County Star-Times in Mauston. He covered government, crime, business and more for the Star-Times.
Prior to his journalism career, Ekdahl earned his bachelor’s degree at Concordia University-Wisconsin in Mequon before getting his master’s in data journalism at DePaul University in Chicago.
