STEVENS POINT – Kris Leonhardt, senior editor for Multi Media Channels, introduced herself to readers in two new markets last week as she took on an expanded role with company.

Previously the editor of the (Marshfield) Hub City Times, Leonhardt now oversees editorial content in the company’s central region, which also includes the (Stevens Point) Portage County Gazette and Wisconsin Rapids City Times.

Leonhardt’s introductory column told the story of how she got her start with MMC at the Hub City Times. She also expressed a desire to bring more feature stories to the newspaper’s hyper-local news and sports coverage.
