EAU CLAIRE – Starting April 4, readers of the Leader-Telegram will need a subscription to read stories on the Eau Claire newspaper’s website.
Leader-Telegram editor Gary Johnson announced the change Tuesday, along with new digital-only subscription options. Readers without print subscriptions can access the website for 99 cents per day or $9.99 per month.
In the announcement, Johnson noted the newspaper’s 19 awards won in the 2018 WNA Better Newspaper Contest and the cost of producing such award-winning journalism. He also emphasized the Leader-Telegram‘s watchdog role in the Chippewa Valley community.
