EAU CLAIRE – Heidi Clausen, editor of The Country Today, recently celebrated 25 years with the agricultural newspaper.
In an anniversary column published in the newspaper, Clausen wrote about interning at The Country Today in 1993. She was about to graduate with her degree in broad area agriculture from UW-River Falls. Since then, the job has taken her to Washington, D.C., Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Alaska.
Clausen was named editor in 2017, following the retirement of Jim Massey. She previously served as a regional editor for the newspaper.
