MENOMONIE – Sarah Seifert has been named editor of the (Menomonie) Dunn County News, the newspaper announced last week.
Seifert, a Wisconsin native and UW-Green Bay graduate, succeeds Barbara Lyon, who worked at the News for 19 years and had been editor since 2005. Lyon is taking a position as communications and events coordinator for Stepping Stones of Dunn County.
Prior to joining the News, Seifert was lead news reporter at the Chippewa Herald, another member of the River Valley Media Group. At the Herald, Seifert covered city and county government, courts, crime and education.
