MADISON – Chris McCullough, a Northern Ireland-based journalist who does freelance work for Wisconsin agricultural newspaper Agri-View, recently won a major award at the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists congress in the Netherlands.
The award includes flights to South Africa and a week-long stay in the country. McCullough won the award through his coverage of South African farming, tourism, wineries, murders and more. He spent 10 days visiting farms around the country, reporting on the challenges and opportunities facing South African farmers.
Agri-View, based in Madison, is a weekly agricultural newspaper owned by Capital Newspapers.
