WATERTOWN – Christina Luick has joined the Watertown Daily Times staff as its newest reporter.
Luick, a Cedarburg native, will focus on the city government beat and assist with the education beat, while also shooting photos and covering general assignment stories. She succeeds Jake Batterman, who left the Daily Times several months ago.
A recent UW-Milwaukee graduate, Luick was a freelance writer for The (Waukesha) Freeman in college. She also interned at several other newspapers in the Milwaukee area.
Luick earned first place honors in the 2018 Wisconsin College Media Association Awards, as well as the 2017 Society of Professional Journalists Mark of Excellence Contest.
