ASHLAND – Readers of the Ashland Daily Press this week began receiving the print newspaper just twice a week, the newspaper announced. In light of changing readership habits, the Daily Press went from printing six days a week to printing on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Despite the print reduction, the Daily Press will continue publishing news to its website daily. More than half of the newspaper’s readers already get their news online, according to General Manager David LaPorte.
“With the changes in how we are delivering the news to you, we’re ensuring that we will continue to bring local news and information to you where you want to read it, when you want to read it,” LaPorte said.
