SHAWANO – Carol Ryczek is the new editor-in-chief for The Shawano Leader, Oconto County Times Herald, and Wittenberg Enterprise/Birnamwood News, NEW Media Inc. announced last week.
Ryczek, a former reporter and photo editor at the Leader, worked in communications and volunteer services for ThedaCare prior to accepting the editor position.
She will oversee operations in all three newsrooms, while Warren Bluhm and Miriam Nelson will remain the news editors in Oconto Falls and Wittenberg, respectively.
