Are you looking to add new recipes and a lighthearted voice to your newspaper? Look no further than the “Wok & Roll” column by Peter Kwong.
The WNA is pleased to add Kwong’s column to its list of weekly member content offerings.
Kwong’s column has been a popular addition to the (Frederic) Inter-County Leader and (Shell Lake) Washburn County Register over the past few years. Now, they’re offering to share it with all WNA members.
What started out as a recap of recipes has extended into a weekly column on whatever comes to mind. That means, jokes, stories, anecdotes from the consulting business and more.
Kwong, who was born in Hong Kong, started his career in hospitality in Southern California before moving to Wisconsin. After living in Milwaukee for more than 20 years, Kwong and his wife, Colleen, moved up to the Northwoods to be closer to their granddaughter. Kwong writes about the move this week, in the first column available to WNA members.
In addition to writing the column, Kwong stays busy teaching cooking classes, singing and consulting.
