MILWAUKEE – Andy Fisher is the new top business executive for USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported this week.
As vice president of sales, Fisher will oversee all Wisconsin newspapers in the USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin. He succeeds Chris Stegman, who was promoted in May to national vice president of grocery for Gannett.
Fisher, 43, is a Wisconsin native and graduate of UW-Eau Claire, where he earned his degree in business administration and marketing. He’s spent 20 years in the sales and marketing industry and most recently served as an executive with the Dallas-based business software and marketing firm DexYP.
His role oversees all Wisconsin newspapers in the USA TODAY NETWORK, which includes the Journal Sentinel, (Appleton) Post-Crescent, (Fond du Lac) Reporter, Green Bay Press-Gazette, (Manitowoc) Herald Times Reporter, Marshfield News-Herald, Oshkosh Northwestern, Sheboygan Press, Stevens Point Journal, Wausau Daily Herald and (Wisconsin Rapids) Daily Tribune. Gannett also publishes several weekly newspapers in suburban Milwaukee, as well as the (Sturgeon Bay) Door County Advocate, and Oconto County Reporter.
