KENOSHA – With the newspaper using only about one-third of its space, Kenosha News owner United Communications plans to sell the building and rent office space from the new owner.
The 63,985-square-foot building on Seventh Avenue in downtown Kenosha is being listed at $1.89 million.
Kenosha News Publisher Randy Rickman said the move would help the newspaper, which no longer needs the extra space for on-site printing, among other things.
“Currently, our employees are spread out over two floors,” Rickman said. “By moving everyone to the second floor, we’ll be able to literally knock down the walls between departments.”
