LAKE MILLS – The Lake Mills Leader has hired Sarah Weihert as its new managing editor, the newspaper announced this week.
Weihert, a Lake Mills native and UW-Whitewater graduate, previously worked as an education reporter for the Watertown Times, where she earned several WNA Better Newspaper Contest awards, including first place honors in feature writing.
Prior to her time in Watertown, Weihert also worked for radio stations in Fort Atkinson and Madison. She told the Leader she was excited to tell stories about her hometown.
