The fourth annual Friends of Mike Golf Outing will be held July 27 at Little River Country Club in Marinette. The event, which honors long-time baseball umpire and Peshtigo Times sports editor Mike Gardon, consists of a four-person scramble and a $25 donation to the Mike Gardon Scholarship fund. Gardon died Aug. 7, 2014, of a heart attack. He was 57.
