WNA members will have the opportunity to meet and interview aspiring young professionals on April 13 during the 2018 WNA Convention and Trade Show at the Sheraton Madison Hotel, 706 John Nolen Drive, in Madison.
Employers are encouraged to reserve a table at the Career Fair, set to begin at 2 p.m on April 13. The Career Fair will follow the Honors Luncheon at the WNA Convention and Trade Show, during which the state’s best media students will be honored. The deadline to reserve a table is Friday, April 6.
- Participating newspapers will be assigned a table (six feet in length, skirted, with two chairs) in the mezzanine of the hotel (second floor), the space designated for the Career Fair at that time.
- Representative(s) should be on hand to chat with prospective interns, student workers and new graduates seeking employment.
- Please bring information about your newspaper or specific job opportunities to distribute (75-100 copies).
Please plan to stay until 3 p.m. to talk with students. College students will be encouraged to visit each newspaper’s table, equipped with resumes and portfolios to share with prospective employers.
