Kasi Greenwood has been hired as a reporter for the Democrat Tribune in Mineral Point and the Dodgeville Chronicle.

Greenwood is a Mineral Point native who was active in 4-H as a youth. She pursued a degree in agricultural business with an emphasis on communication and marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. At UW-Platteville, Greenwood was involved in Sigma Alpha, an agricultural sorority, and Black and Bridle, a livestock enthusiast organization. She also worked as a student assistant in the Karrmann Library, retrieving articles from newspapers, microfilm and periodical reviews for student research.

Upon graduating, Greenwood held a variety of jobs, including being a fill-in DJ for D99.3 FM.

She will be splitting her time between both the Democrat Tribune and the Chronicle.
