Susan Endres recently accepted a promotion to assistant editor at the Monroe Times. She is a native of Chippewa Falls.
Endres started at the Times in January 2014 as the education reporter and page designer after earning her bachelor’s degree in journalism and English with an emphasis in creative writing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In the new position, she will work with the editor to produce strong local news coverage.
While in college, Endres worked as a reporter and environment editor for the Madison Commons, a collaborative effort between Madison residents and the UW-Madison School of Journalism to provide local news in more depth than other media outlets offered. She hopes to bring that experience working closely within a community to her new role as assistant editor in Monroe.
