Each year, the Wisconsin Newspaper Association swaps contest judging responsibilities with another state press association. This year, members of the WNA will judge the Iowa Newspaper Association‘s editorial, advertising and collegiate contests.
The INA needs at least 75 volunteers to judge their contests, and we hope you’ll consider signing up. It’s a great opportunity to read some of the best work being produced by other newspapers, pick up some ideas and to better understand a newspaper contest judge’s perspective (which can help when selecting the entries you submit in the WNA’s Better Newspaper Contest).
Judging will occur in November and, with the exception of four categories that allow mail-in entries, all judging will be done online using the Better Newspaper Contest portal.
