Daniel Thompson hired as Kenosha News city editor

Daniel Thompson

Daniel Thompson has been hired as city editor at the Kenosha News.

In that role, Thompson will oversee the local news operation during the day Monday through Friday. He succeeds Janine Anderson, who left the News to pursue other endeavors last month.

A native of Racine, Thompson, 28, spent most of his childhood in Kenosha, attending Christian Life School beginning in first grade.

After graduating from Tremper High School in 2008, Thompson attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater for two years.

He then transferred to the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating in 2012.
