Lance Ray recently joined the staff at the Monroe Times in its advertising department. He will serve as an advertising development representative.

Ray is no stranger to the community. He served as the manager of the Minhas Distillery for five years. Prior to that, he spent five years teaching physical education and health at the Black Hawk School District in South Wayne.

Ray is originally from Spring Green and has a bachelor of science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in physical education and health.

Ray is an avid sports fan and follows the Packers, Brewers and Badgers regularly. He resides in Monroe with his wife, Shannon, and their 18-month-old daughter, Kinley Marie.
