Kyle Whitfield is the vice president of consumer revenue at Georges Media Group, Louisiana’s largest locally owned media company. There he oversees the people, process and technology surrounding subscriber acquisition and retention for NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune, The Advocate, The Acadiana Advocate and The Shreveport-Bossier City Advocate. Kyle is relatively new to the business side of local media, having worked for 15 years in newsrooms before moving to his current role in 2021. But the chase to innovate and grow local news in Louisiana has quickly become his biggest professional passion. Kyle lives in Baton Rouge with his wife, 7-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son (don’t tell the dog I left her off the list).
