First Amendment grants freedom to all Americans

I am so proud to be an American citizen because of the First Amendment.

When I wake up in the morning, I can go to a school of my choice with nothing holding me back. I go to a catholic school where we can talk about Jesus without punishment. When I get home from school every day, I can watch anything I choose on television or my phone, listen to any music I prefer, and do whatever I want to do with my own rights. This is all because of the First Amendment. I think that the First Amendment is the most vital amendment because it gives people like me and you the rights to religion and freedom of speech.

When I grow up, I look forward to being able to vote for a candidate that I choose, speak up for what I believe in, worship God, and get to know people that aren’t like me. I am friends with people that don’t believe in God, and I have friends who are gay. I am glad that I live in a country where the First Amendment allows every person to be free.
