The 2021 WNA Better Newspaper Contest Awards Banquet will be held as an in-person standalone event on June 24 at The Concourse in Madison.
A reception will start at 5 p.m., with the awards ceremony to follow at 6 p.m. The deadline to register has been extended until June 20.
The Better Newspaper Contest Awards Banquet is an annual event saluting the achievements of Wisconsin newspapers. We’ll highlight the best work of Wisconsin’s news photographers, memorialize newspaper veterans we’ve lost, celebrate winners of our Better Newspaper Contests — students and professionals — and toast the Best of Division and Daily and Weekly Newspapers of the Year. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, this is the first time the event will be held in-person since 2019.

Lodging
Rooms are available at a discounted rate of $149 through the WNA’ s room block. The deadline to book at the reduced rate is June 7.
