  • Competition Comment: 17 entries-WOW. This was a tough category to judge because each submission was unique, interesting and well written. There were a couple of entries that did not have the jump page included, but even those drew me in and I was disappointed that I couldn't reach the conclusion. These entries also gave me insight to sports that are played in other areas of the county. IN reality, every entry had "winning" characteristic and the top four could have placed in any order--they were that well written and the hard to judge. Congratulations to all 17 entries for writing about people and events that are important to your respective communities. These entries were enjoyable to read, and there wasn't a single one that I wished had been shorter, less wordy or better written.
