Judge Comment: TIF was a strong story that lays out the pros and cons of tax breaks to new businesses. This is often glossed over. Worker shortage story has lots of sources.
  • Competition Comment: Lots of good stuff here. Lots of local color and local history told through the ebbs and flows of local businesses. What makes really a really good business story is reporting that adds context to what the business means to the community and how the business fits into the larger business world.
