  • Competition Comment: This was a tough assignment. Each of the campuses entered some very fine journalism. I have no doubt that each of these young journalists will go on to fulfilling careers in the industry. I expect I'll see many of them winning journalism competitions far into the future. I must say it was a relief to discover our college campuses are turning out quality journalists these days. I've heard stories to the contrary over the years but those fears were apparently unfounded as these reports illustrate.
